The Beer Plant is so excited to host Caroline Wallace, Sarah Wood, and Jessica Deahl, authors of the new Trappist Beer Travels Book, for this book signing event! In the spirit of the evening, our Specials Board will feature a selection of special dishes paired with some of the world renowned Trappist beers featured in the book. (Menu TBA soon--stay tuned!)

TBP, Jester King & Revolution Spirits 7-Course Dinner

Join us at The Beer Plant on April 17th as we welcome Jester King and Revolution Spirits for a special night of botanical merrymaking. 

The Beer Plant will be pairing a seven course dinner inspired by the unique flavors and elements of the Texas hill country, with beers and spirits to complement each course from the hop geniuses at Jester King Brewery and the spirit guides at Revolution Spirits Distilling. 

The menu is pre-fixe and promises to be as romantic as Venus and as intoxicating as Dionysius.


We have limited capacity for this special event. Most of the seating will be communal style, including bar seats. If purchasing tickets separately for a group, please email us at hello@thebeerplant.com to let us know how many guests are in your group and the names of those individuals in your party so that we may try to seat you together.

Please also know that tickets include bar seating and that you may be seated at our dine-in bar for the event.

House-made hop tree tonic water and RS’s Austin Reserve Gin, a contemporary American-style gin blending juniper, rosemary, lavender, lemongrass and pink peppercorns; complex but balanced, expressive while light on the palate  


3rd Course
Fermented macadamia cheese, spelt grain crackers, cornichon, watermelon radish, wine jelly, pickled mustard seeds
JK’s Buddha's Brew
Sour wheat ale fermented entirely in oak barrels and blended with local Buddha’s Brew Kombucha, 4.7% ABV


4th  Course
Rain cake, wort syrup, mesquite powder, pickled brambles
JK’s Mad Meg
Farmhouse Provision Ale, 9% ABV

RS’s Farmhouse Blueberry Liqueur & JK’s Colour Five
Colour Five was released on March 24th, Jester King’s barrel aged sour fermented with Texas blueberries; mixed here with Revolution Spirit’s earthy, complex but balanced blueberry liquer made with the same blueberries from Jester King’s Colour Five


7th Course
Cordyceps and reishi mushroom bark, sorrel, passion fruit
Chocolate Cafecito
Chocolate Cafecito, nitro coffee, almond milk, cacao, wild primrose, coconut whip and whiskey Carmel sauce—rich with a balanced sweetness and fresh coffee aroma; made with local Cuvee Mezzanotte blend coffee and Srsly Chocolate cacao
